Created Monday, 11 August 2008

The Ottawa Regional Youth Choir is pleased to be able to recognize several choir members every year for their various efforts in support of the choir and in the pursuit of choral excellence. Awards are generally presented in conjunction with the spring concert that winds up the choral season.

The Barbara Clark Scholarship is awarded to a chorister in support of continuing personal musical training (named in honour of the founding Director of the ORYC who led and inspired the choir for its first 25 seasons). It was first awarded in 1986 and is based on applications submitted by current choir members.

It was first awarded in 1993 and is based on recommendations submitted by choir members.
